this is where old frontpage posts are gonna live. forever. there are also irrelevant rants contained within, for the daring few...

the GCP dot is down. my cinema job has entered "THE BUSY SEASON". my life is in turmoil. in spite of these happenings, THE SUN STILL RISES and CREATION PREVAILS:
LOSTINO THE LOST PROPERTY MASCOT IS NOW REAL. god help me if anyone comes back for either of the two beanies comprising his head, or the five beanies I stuffed INSIDE of his head to give him dimensions. i'm working on comix but the aforementioned BUSY SEASON is biting me in the ass. never get a job, kids.

THE GCP DOT IS DOWN. I REPEAT: THE GCP DOT IS DOWN.
I don't know what to do without consulting that dot, but more importantly, I have no idea what the hell i'm going to stick in that corner now. I hope it comes back soon. i'm getting ANTSY. updates continuing as usual despite the uncertain times we find ourselves in.
i'm also going round and adding hover-over text to some of the art in T.I.D.A.L. & the sketchbook. vague explanations for the vaguely explainable.

i've been futzing with the layout again! i'm too indecisive for this world, and mucking around with tables is TOO FUN. other than that, i'm wrapping up work on the Shade Zine. dunno if i'm gonna upload it here or not, but hey. we're all along for the ride here, are we not?
[8/03/26]
so I WASN'T KIDDING about updating the site. i've even been futzing with the layout. the very bones of this place. adding new pages. reinstating old ones. yes, it's officially a WORK IN HOGRESS.
[15/03/26]
new page time. I do an awful lot of doodling at work. now they have a home.
[4/13 TIDINGS, YEARS ON FROM THE ENDING]
I hate the newfangled "meta" homestuck. there. I said it. I hate how all discussion about homestuck seems to revolve around an endless stream of controversies, sequels, and fandom clownery. anyone who claims that homestuck ""had"" the worst fandom circa ~2012 hasn't seen the current state of it- rickety grifts and discord cliques cannibalising eachother. people braining eachother with digital rocks in an attempt to make their headcanons canon-canon. hoo wee. ten years ago, on this day, homestuck ended, and we all sighed a sigh of relief that it was finally OVER. it was an underwhelming ending, but an ENDING. little did we know that hussie's orbiters and hanger-ons had formed a bizarro shadow cabinet that conspired to never let homestuck die EVER. under any circumstances. no matter how embarrassing, they would rehash and drag the bloated corpse of god's least favourite webcomic on for another ten years and beyond. jesus christ. how many undeaths has homestuck endured, now? the ungodly epilogues, several iterations of a game that's been in-and-out of cancellation, lame visual novels designed as supplemental materials to thegame, a sequel so bad that it was disowned shortly into its original run, a revival of the sequel that's gone full-on fancomic, and now a vivziepop animated series with all the witty writing that entails. jee-ZUS. i'm half convinced that these people have hussie chained up in a basement, and prod him with barbed sticks whenever he doesn't sign off on all this crap. here's to another ten years of pointing and laughing.
[12/03/26]
been adding pages and putting things in those pages. consistently.

yet again I am BEGRUDGINGLY updating the website. every time I go to start posting to the OFFICIAL heap instagram, which as of right now holds zero (0) posts, I feel a tremendous weight on my soul, like the universe is telling me to get the hell out of there. I simply am not built for that go-go-go self promotional lifestyle, it seems. so my only real choice is to go FULL THROTTLE with this site. or medium throttle. I dunno. in any case, i'm working on three zines at once, because spring has sprung and so has my vast and beautiful mind. who knows. maybe i'll even bestow upon this website a pittance of "content".
[SPECIAL SAUCE]
I hate whatever invisible maths is happening to determine "special sauce". when I check "last updated" I expect to see EVERY website that last updated, not whichever ones have hit a certain view/engagement count. it sucks! what, I gotta look in specific TAGS to see sites? I shudder to imagine what incredible worlds i'm missing out on purely because i'm not searching their esoteric tags. not to be all "back in my day...", but I killed SO much time in 2020 by trawling the last updated page for bizarre websites to ingest. you can get the same effect from the "newest" page, but it's missing that je ne sais quois... that zazz.

and yet another zine, in two handsome flavours- strawberry and readable. I got infected with smurfs. I have a running theory that the smurfs is an ineffective cognitohazard, only one in every 10,000 people who are exposed to the smurfs actually get posessed with Smurf Enjoyment. but that's a story for another day.
[27/10/25]
badges! they're not new. i've been making them for, like, six months now. but a GALLERY TO VIEW THEM IN? that's new.
[GCP DOT]
if you've bothered to trawl for this page, GOOD FOR YOU. you get a little treat- a layman's description of the coloured dot in the corner. the gcp dot, or the Global Consciousness Project dot, is an indicator of global mental coherence based on a series of randomly generated numbers distributed around the world. tldr- blue = mental focus. red = emotional focus. it's important to consult the dot whenever something screwy happens, and attempt to rationalise the world's behaviour with the dot's colour.
